High growth cloud consulting company is seeking an experienced application implementation consultant looking for a ground-floor opportunity to be the next great consulting firm dedicated to improving business through the deployment of cloud computing.  Ability to contribute in a team atmosphere, work across multiple active projects, solve problems independently and meet rigid deadlines within our quality standards.  Positive ‘can-do’ attitude is essential.

 

The Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include; gathering client requirements, configuring the Ceridian DayForce solution to meet documented client requirements, setting and managing client expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager. The Consultant may also deliver Organizational Readiness consulting.


Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy implementation project plans and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and optimize return on investment 

  • Manage all aspects of the implementation process which includes collaborative consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deployment 

  • Document/validate client business requirements and map to DayForce functionality

  • Configure Ceridian DayForce application to meet client’s business requirements

  • Conduct consulting sessions (phone/in-person) and document with meeting minutes

  • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on activities and deliverables

  • Apply functional and technical expertise to effectively execute requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deployment 

  • Consult and advise clients through the implementation process on best practices that maximize value and return on investment 

  • Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external client, and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of the time and attendance management system 

  • Responsible for managing the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of employee data

  • Audit data and modules as needed

  • Provide clients with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise

  • Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces

  • Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users

  • Work with clients to implement Organizational Readiness best practices in preparation for rollout of the Ceridian DayForce solution

  • Review policies periodically and make best practice recommendations

 

Qualifications:

 

Technical

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science

  • 3-5 years of software implementation experience 

  • Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experience with HRIS Systems

  • Experience with one or more of the following applications: SalesForce.com, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, Ceridian DayForce (preferred)

  • Ability to effectively implement an HRIS module or similar end-to-end solution

  • Understanding of common human capital management (HCM) business practices

  • Experience in business process mapping

  • Experience in change management an asset

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL & XML

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Compensation:
